The 1 oz Silver Great Horned Owl Coin is the fourth and final limited-mintage release in the Canadian Birds of Prey Silver Coin Series, issued biannually by the Royal Canadian Mint.
Struck in 99.99% pure silver, the 2015 edition features a great horned owl in mid-flight—its wings spread wide and talons extended, capturing the bird’s stealth and precision. The reverse also includes the initials “ED” of designer Emily S. Damstra.
