The large paws and sharp teeth showcase the fierce attack of this large cat, expertly engraved and enhanced with carefully applied polishes as well as the now RCM standard security enhancements: precision radial lines have been machined within microns to create a light diffractive pattern that is unique in appearance to this coin. Under magnification, the number “17” is visible to denote the year of issue. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, along with the silver coin's face value and its year of issuance.
