Now, for the first time, the RCM has created a special edition Gold Maple Leaf bullion made of pure gold responsibly sourced entirely from a single source: Nunavut’s Agnico Eagle’s Meliadine mine.
The central feature of the gold coin’s design is the universally recognized symbol of Canada, the maple leaf. The gold maple leaf appears on the reverse side along with the coin’s purity and weight. The coin incorporates multiple security features, including a micro-engraved maple leaf laser mark, a radial line finish, and Bullion DNA™ anti-counterfeiting technology. This stunning coin is the Mint’s first-ever pure gold coin sourced from a single mine, adding a special upgrade to previous best-selling Maple Leaf bullion coins.
