What is a Kitco Pool – Metal Account?
Kitco Pool – Metal Accounts let you hold precious metals without taking physical delivery. Balances are recorded on an unallocated basis, meaning they are not tied to specific bars or coins and are not individually segregated. As a Pool Account holder, you own a portion of a pool of precious metals held by Kitco on your behalf.
The metals supporting Pool Account balances may be held in various forms, including bars, coins, scrap metal, or other metal inventory. While not allocated to individual customers, these metals belong entirely Kitco’s customers who are Pool Account holders. Kitco is responsible for settling each account balance for the corresponding quantity of metal in accordance with the applicable terms.
