This 1 oz coin illuminates the figure of Archangel Uriel, the angel of repentance. It is the final release in the Archangels Coin Collection from the New Zealand Mint, and the standout feature is Archangel Uriel holding a bright sun on parchment paper in his hands. The golden rays stand out in the middle of the image, with a red orb circling Uriel's head and a dark green background bringing warmth and depth to the portrait.

The image is a replica of a 1920 stained-glass window painting in Hull Minster, UK, done by Mary Hutchinson. An intricately engraved silver border provides a proper framework to appreciate the painstaking-detail on both sides of the coin.
