Buy 2008 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf Olympic Edition Coin

The Royal Canadian Mint released this collectible gold coin to commemorate the 2010 Olympic Winter Games held in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

This fine 9999 gold coin is the first in a three gold coin series, each featuring a different design. All three Vancouver Gold Winter Olympic Coins are available at Kitco Metals. 

The obverse of this coin carries a Susanna Blunt likeness design of Queen Elizabeth II. The silver coin also carries a $50 CAD legal tender face value, and a 2008 year of strike. 

The reverse of this Olympic gold coin bears a large maple leaf with a small talisman above the 2010 Vancouver Olympic logo. Also stamped are the gold coin’s 9999 fine gold purity and 1 troy ounce weight.
