Gorgosaurus lived about 70 million years ago, and skeletons have been found in Southern Alberta, Canada and in parts of Montana. It is thought that this dinosaur lived and hunted in packs, running faster than the larger Tyrannosaurus rex, by some estimates up to 28 mph (45 kmph)!

The antique finish on this silver coin is sealed in lacquer, which serves to minimize the appearance of fingerprints if the coin is handled.
