One side features a powerful American bison standing in profile, while the other side depicts the noble profile of a Native American man. Fraser’s design is widely regarded as one of the greatest in U.S. coin history.

Today, these Silver Buffalo rounds are produced by several private mints. As a result, exact design details and dimensions may vary slightly—but each round is guaranteed to contain 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
