What is precious metal scrap and who can sell it?
Precious metal scrap includes jewelry, watches, metal filings, tableware, decorative items, dental gold and silver, etc. To sell precious metal scrap to Kitco, you must represent a business or corporation whose activities have a logical link with the sale of scrap metals, for example jewelers, pawn shops, antique dealers, manufacturers, or dental laboratories.
Although our policy is currently under review, at this time, Kitco cannot purchase precious metal scrap from private individuals.
