To create this series of 12 fine silver collectibles coins, the Royal Canadian Mint worked with Canadian artist Pandora Young to develop each coin.Inspired by Indian design, the artist began with a 12 pointed mandala, representing each of the 12 months of the year. The Royal Canadian Mint's technical team used modern technology to paint the freshly minted coin in each carefully selected color. The final step is a genuine Swarovski® crystal on each coin, which will reflect the color and design like a true Aquamarine stone.
