Introducing the second release in the “Gates of Jerusalem” coin series, the Lion’s Gate 1 oz Silver Round. Built in the 16th century by the Sultan of Turkey, also known as Suleiman the Magnificent, the Walls around the Old City of Jerusalem include 8 gates. The second gate featured in this series, Lion’s Gate, is named for its two sculpted lions, located on either side of the gateway. Lion’s Gate is engraved in great detail, down to the aged bricks. The reverse side shows an overview of the Walls of Jerusalem with each gate marked. This coin captures the architectural magnificence of Lion’s Gate and shines out in 999 fine silver.
The 1 oz silver Lion’s Gate coin is produced by The Holy Land Mint. The coin comes safely sealed in “Gates of Jerusalem” themed packaging, complete with a certificate of authenticity. The Lion’s Gate coin is available with a limited mintage of just 1800 coins available worldwide.
