Introducing the fourth release in the “Gates of Jerusalem” coin series, the New Gate 1 oz Silver Round. Built in the 16th century by the Sultan of Turkey, also known as Suleiman the Magnificent, the Walls around the Old City of Jerusalem include 8 gates. The fourth gate featured in this series, New Gate, was built in 1889 by the Ottoman authorities, making it the newest of the Gates of Jerusalem. New Gate is engraved on the coin in great detail, down to the aged bricks. The reverse side shows an overview of the Walls of Jerusalem with each gate marked. This coin captures the architectural magnificence of New Gate and shines out in 999 fine silver.
The 1 oz silver New Gate coin is produced by The Holy Land Mint. The coin comes safely sealed in “Gates of Jerusalem” themed packaging, complete with a certificate of authenticity. The New Gate coin is available with a limited mintage of just 1800 coins available worldwide.
