This silver proof round features Alphonse Mucha’s 1898 art piece created for the Joseph Bardou Company, cigarette paper manufacturers known otherwise by their trademark ‘JOB’.
The original artwork features Mucha’s signature—a beautiful woman—with long dark hair adorned with red peonies and a flowing pink dress. She holds a pack of JOB cigarette papers and stares at a cigarette as the smoke billows up into the initials JOB hanging above her head. The artwork is brought to coin with a three dimensional sculpt crafted by Master Sculptor Luigi Badia, completed with a stunning proof finish.
The reverse shows a portrait of the world renowned artist himself, Alphonse Mucha, along with the years of the artist’s life and the purity and weight of each silver round. A unique serial number appears on the edge of each individual 1 oz silver round, matching the Certificate of Authenticity included with each item. This round was designed by the Anonymous Mint, and manufactured by the North American Mint.
