The first design in this six-part Alphonse Mucha Round Series features the design known as “JOB”, captured in .999 fine silver and plated in 24k gold. The original artwork was completed in 1896, and became the best known of Mucha’s advertising posters. Echoing the features of the other works in this series, an engraving of a distinctive "Mucha Woman" crafted by Master Sculptor Luigi Badia is featured on the round. She holds a cigarette and stares as the smoke billows up into the initials JOB hanging above her head, her long hair flowing around her.
The reverse shows a portrait of the world-renowned artist himself, Alphonse Mucha, along with the years of the artist’s life and the purity and weight of each round. The round is available with a limited mintage of just 2,000 rounds worldwide, with a unique serial printed on the Certificate of Authenticity included with each item. This round is exclusive to Kitco and was designed by the Anonymous Mint, and manufactured by the North American Mint.
